EPEX Day-Ahead™
- Power trading on the Day-Ahead markets on EPEX SPOT accounted for 54,054.6 GWh (May 2024: 53,733.2 GWh).
EPEX Intraday™
- On the EPEX SPOT Intraday markets, a total volume of 20,512.8 GWh was traded (May 2024: 17,980.4 GWh).
- The Intraday market has reached a new record traded volume in continuous in the Netherlands; and auction in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Sweden.
EPEX Origin™
- In May 2025, 204.0 GWh were traded on the monthly auction for Guarantees of Origin.
EPEX Capacity™
- Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 6.1 GW were traded on the French Capacity Market.
EPEX SPOT welcomed its new Chief Financial Officer CFO Diana Rodrigues to the Management Board. In her new role, she will oversee all financial departments as well as Human Resources, Risk Management, and the Market Surveillance Office. Moreover, the European Power Exchange celebrated the 25 years of power trading in Great Britain.
