Amsterdam / Berlin / Bern / Brussels / London / Paris / Vienna, 5 July 2021. In June 2021, a total volume of 47.2 TWh was traded on EPEX SPOT’s Day-Ahead and Intraday power markets (June 2020: 50.0 TWh).
EPEX Day-Ahead
In June 2021, power trading on the Day-Ahead markets on EPEX SPOT accounted for 37,806.7 GWh (June 2020: 40,970,2 GWh). 978.1 GWh were traded on the Danish Day-Ahead market, which is the second best monthly volume so far.
EPEX Intraday
On the EPEX SPOT Intraday markets, a total volume of 9,412.9 GWh was traded in June 2021 (June 2020: 9,060.0 GWh). The Intraday market in the Netherlands reached new all-time high, with 547.9 GWh traded – 19.8% above the previous record.
