Admission of Exchange Traders

Exchange Traders must be professionally qualified to trade on EPEX Spot. Training and exams can be taken through the EPEX Spot e-learning News & Training Platform or through the EEX training department in different locations in Europe.

Please note that training sessions and exams for Epex Spot power markets are only open to EPEX Spot members or to companies that have already started EPEX Spot admission process. In the latter case, the persons who would successfully passed the exam,  would receive a notification letter but would become certified traders only if, within six months, they are duly employed by a registered member of the exchange.
